Looks like this week is Asam Laksa week. Today's trail brings us to Little Penang cafe at the Curve. We have a smaller crowd today, so Kah Leng drove.

The Asama Laksa in Little Penang has very much thicker soup stock. Looks like most of the ingredients (bunga kantan, lemon grass and what have you) have been ground into the soup. The fish meat (looks like Kembong) was also very much finer and made the soup really thick. Very few pieces of the fish was in chunks, unlike Kopi Time.
Yesterday's Asam Laksa at Kopi Time was such that as you eat, the mouth started to get a spicier taste. Little Penang's was the more you eat, the more sourish the Asam Laksa got. And Despite a similar soup bowl sized serving, it was perceived that the actual amount of noodles was less in Little Penang, and it cost more - at RM9 per bowl.

Elaine opted for Nasi Lemak. 2 days of Asam Laksa straight is a challenge. The sambal that was served on the plate was a miserable pinch. You have to ask the waiter to bring you more.
Here are the 3 pretty lasses after the feast.
It is not possible to have Asam Laksa tomorrow (Thursday) as the Sales team has an event at a local hotel. But we are already planning Friday's lunch - Char Kueh Teow at Centerpoint!!
